I ordered three pairs of shoes to wear to my daughter’s
wedding, although I have not worn
heels in 15 years. The
Vaneli Mirias is the pair I chose to keep. It was wide enough at the front to accommodate my bunion and the shoes were comfortable (much wider than the Ross Hommerson shoes I had purchased in a 6D). I did not need to change shoes all evening. I bought the black patent Mirias, and after walking around in them at
home, the
insole wrinkled where it meets the black patent under the ball of the foot (both feet). I lifted the
insole up a little, smoothed it out, and reglued it with Superglue, and it has been fine since.
