Benjamin from Mt. Washington, KY
WOW!
I have really big feet. ("Hello, my name is Benjamin, and I wear size 14 EEEE." "Hello, Benjamin.") For YEARS I've been saddled with footwear that lacks the basic style that graces even orthopedic shoes, and rarely has that aforementioned style-challenged shoe been comfortable. When a shoe company does carry plus sized shoes, the translation is typically an awkward one. Imagine my surprise when an Italian made shoe makes me look at the few size 14 jewels I've cobbled together in the last few years and find them all lacking. I am blown away. It's not too tight, not too narrow, not too loose, and not too wide. It's almost like the thing was molded on my foot. I was initially put off by the price, but liked the shoe (and the look of Pliners in general) so much that I thought, "What the hell? If they don't fit, at least I'll be able to return them." Now I want them in all colors, and I'm seriously considering trying out every
Pliner I can find. Beware this shoe: it may change how you think about footwear and blow the curve for everything you have.
