The perfect shoe in many ways! I looked and looked for a shoe I could wear on a long trip, one that would be comfortable and supportive all day, but would look more like a shoe than a sneaker. Although I have a very hard time finding comfortable shoes, I care about style as well. I'd about given up when I found these. I have bunions, which mean my feet are wide and sensitive to rubbing, so mary jane styles just don't work for me. But these do! The top comes up high enough on the foot to avoid rubbing, but is still cut low enough to be cute. And the edging around the top is super-soft, so no chafing. In addition, they have a lot of support - much more so than other casual flats. With the contrast stitching and rubber trim (and the silver patch on the back, which I could do without), they are still more sporty than dressy, but I have worn them with skirts and they look very cute. Under black slacks, they will be totally appropriate at all but the very dressiest spots. They run a little wide (which I needed), but that gives you room to add an insole for additional cushioning (although the Ecco cushioning is good). All in all, a shoe that fills a huge need - I think I'll get a ton of wear out of them. (I've been wearing them without socks this summer, but will not hesitate to wear them with black socks in cooler weather.)

I loved these shoes, and wore them a lot, but after about a month they unfortunately started to make squeaky sounds, so now when I walk my friends say "you know your shoes squeak"; if you can live with that, I can't, they're great. I even put in some store-bought innersoles, no luck. Still squeak. Can I still return these, Zappos?

Perfect fit, exceptionally comfortable, very lightweight. They stay on well but are easy to slip on and off. Unlike sandals, you can really run and jump in these. Great compromise if sneakers are just too much shoe. The sides pooch out a little when I step on my toes. I hate to make noise when I walk, so I appreciate that these don't clop or clack or snap. However, the heels have started to make a duck quack when I walk on carpet at work, as mentioned by another reviewer who said they squeak. The Silver color around the top of the shoe is decidedly lavender. They look great with jeans. This shoe does not bother my bunions at all. I don't care about the minor minuses; I still love them.

Loved these shoes, but unfortunately had to return them because the heel counter was too high and was causing friction. I have very high arches and would have used an orthotic in these shoes.

I really like this shoe however because of the design and construction there is a problem for me. At the center of the throat the trim meets under the wing tab that wraps under to the inside of the shoe. This makes the tab bulky especially if the trim is overlapped under the tab. It presses down uncomfortably when walking. I wanted to keep these shoes so badly that I thought of smashing the tab down with a hammer to flatten it but decided to just return the shoe instead. I always have to order 1 size down in Ecco shoes.

Darling very comfortable shoes, I have these in black and love them. I thought I'd try the white, but they are not white. More of a dirty tan. I wish they were white. Oh well I am returning them.

A very stylish and comfortable pair of shoes. I love that the insole is removable and I can put my own orthotic arch supports inside. I have wider feet and these aren't too narrow. I normally wear 7.5 W shoes and the Ecco 38 size is perfect for me.

I had high hopes, but seemed to run long (8.5) and since my left foot is already smaller, I couldn't keep them on even with inserts.

I tried this in white. I also already own it in black, and what they call warm grey metal/stone but is more bronzy and last year's white/grey model with white sole. I was looking for a true white but this is off-white; nothing wrong with it just not the color I needed right now. Very comfy shoes. I wear a size 10 and get the 41.

I thought these ran big, so am sending back. I wear a 7.5 and my foot is a little on the wide side. Ordered the 38, but just way too big. Will try next size down.
