These boots are very simple, and therefore versatile. The leather is thick and soft, the shaft is tall (completely covers the calf, almost up to my knee), and the boot is completely lined with leather, quite luxurious. Best of all, though, is the sole, which is a sturdy, flexible, solid piece of rubber which is absolutely non-slip, waterproof and comfortable for walking. I wear these with leggings, with skinny jeans, with tights and short skirts, and with long-ish skirts. I'm not much of a boot person, but I really love these!

Love these Italians - I have ordered about 12 different boots (from various sources), some of them just as expensive as these (the Fryes come to mind or the Pour La Victoires). Wow. I love them. I wanted something that wasn't too wide in the calf, was a decent height (ideally these would be taller, but they are alright as they are - my min. tolerable height) and looks really good. These are super high quality in an understated way, nothing flashy, just perfect. They aren't especially dressy or hip or sexy, but they have poise and that understated charm of the rich and established and self-confident. I wouldn't have paid this much except I wanted a boot I loved. BTW I am a 9 1/2 and these Euro sized 40's just fit. No size 10 footer could fit them, although 40 should be 9 1/2 to 10.

Gorgeous, but...... What a great looking shoe, but very, very unstable. With every step I thought I was going to step "off" the platform. Really nothing to hold the foot secure in the back. What a disappointment. I really needed this color to work.....

These shoes look very nice, but they are uncomfortable. The strap over my toes was tight, even though I ordered the next 1/2 size up. The bottom of my feet were burning after 2 hours.

Beautiful Shoe - I bought this shoe for my wedding and I absolutely love them. Not too tall, not too short, comfortable, and so cute! They are a little different looking and not your typical conservative wedding shoe, which is great. My only regret is that they spent the day under a fluffy white dress, rather than out in the sun for myself and others to enjoy.

These shoes are exactly what I was looking for! I am wearing them for my wedding this summer. I wanted a heel but not a 4" heel. These are high but not uncomfortably high. They are also very comfortable. I was between sizes but found that going with the bigger size was a little more comfortable especially for the summer heat and hours of dancing! Zappos was amazing. I literally ordered them at 8PM Monday night and received them the NEXT DAY at no extra charge!! You can't beat free shipping and returns. The only tiny complaint that I have is that the white is not stark white. On the tie on the side of the shoe the color is not as bright. I would not say they were dirty by any means but just not quite as white as I was expecting.
