Good NYC shoe: light, waterproof, stylish, comfortable. The picture doesn't do the actual look of the shoe justice! I wear a size fourteen and when I opened the box, I saw a shoe that looked really cool, but too small. When I put on socks, however, it slipped right on and don't make my feet look like pontoons. And they're so light! You could also wear them with a nice pair of slacks and they won't take your style down one notch! It's just fall now in NY so I can't speak to how they'll feel when we drop down into the 20's and 10's (There's actually very little you can do at that point!), but as I walked to school this morning (and in NY, we walk!) I could feel the stiff, new leather start to soften up, so I call the break-in time at just a few hours. I will be looking for this shoe in black so I can wear it with my uniform (I'm an EMT) but for now, for a stylish casual boot that won't get me turned away from most club doors in December, or beat up in the projects, I couldn't be happier with the Vizza.
