These are cute, but that's where the appeal ends! The sizes run pretty small. My 5 year old is a size 6 and she wore a 9 in this boot. Our first time out in wet snow and her feet got soaked and cold! We live in the NW and you gotta have waterproof snowboots - that's a big reason I dropped the money on these. I'm not sure if our pair was defective, but I'd never take my daughter in the snow with them. She might as well have had slippers on with as much protection as these gave her! But I have to say, Zappos was excellent about returning them and getting us set up with a pair of Columbia boots. Zappos customer service is top notch - so big props and thanks to them!
