I have a worn this style of Timberland boot for years...and here is why: Comfort - nice cushioning and light weight (relative to others). No hooks, just eyes. The 'hooks' that laces wrap around on other boots get bent closed, through the course of a workday, causing the laces to get trapped behind the bent hook. This makes removing your boots and the end of the day and exercise in tug of war. This isn't that case with these, they only have 'eye' holes for lace retention.

These boots are amazing. I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot. These boots were instant relief. The wedge sole and orthotic support in the boot take a lot of stress off my heel and arch. Truly amazing boot. I have worn many different types of boots. These are the most comfortable. I would highly recommend these to anyone with foot pain. They do run wide. I wear an E/EE with usually. I went with the D width and they are perfect. I can't stress enough the comfort level. Especially if your on your feet all day.

These boot where nice. However, I found that for me there was a bit too much room in the toe area. I couldn't wear enough socks to make up the difference. I ordered a size 16 and my feet are not that wide so that may have added to the looseness.

This is a great boot, all the size info is right on. Why would anybody buy shoes anywhere else, if they know what they want. This is my 3rd pair from Zappos and all came the next day with free shipping. Thanks Zappos.

I normally don't wear boots at all, but thought I'd get a pair of nice old school looking one's that look good with jeans. These looked to fit that purpose perfectly, and they do. I have very wide feet, and 2E version is perfect. Extremely comfortable, classy in an old-school kind of way, and very good build quality. I find myself wearing these daily to my desk job. Would definitely buy again.
