These bootie sandals are beautiful, but they run big so I am going to try a half size smaller. Also, the color "military" just looks like a deep rich espresso brown, very pretty. I hope the smaller size works because I love these shoes!

Clarks Thames required absolutely no break-in period. They were comfortable from the moment I put them on and stayed that way all day. They look great with jeans and trousers, have non-skid soles, are true to size, and the style makes my size 10 feet look smaller than they actually are.

These shoes are sensational! I have challenging feet: size 5 to 5-1/2, probably a AAAA heel and a D across the instep, bunions, and toes that need a big 'box'. All in all, not a pretty sight in a shoe store. These are a dream - no pressure on the toes, no sliding on the heels. The Velcro strap is great - quick and infinitely adjustable. Beautiful workmanship. And I ordered the shoes at 9 pm yesterday and I'm wearing them at 3 pm today. How does Zappos do it?!

The second I put these shoes on I fell in love. There was no break-in time AT ALL. I where them with skirts, with socks and jeans, capris...you name it, and these shoes go with it. I loved the cushion and height these shoes provide. Good stuff...for sure.

Incredibly comfortable shoe! I could not believe how comfortable this shoe was when I put it on. The strap is adjustable so it can be tightened to help keep your foot from slipping around. The only thing that stopped me from keeping it is that is was too clunky for my style. I could definitely see this as a great shoe to wear with jeans in the cooler months.

Best comfort ever, may not last long, though. This is probably the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. I didn't have to break it in at all, and the heel height is just perfect. However, the rice-husk sole has already worn through in the heels and I've only had them a few months. Very disappointed about that.

Wonderfully comfortable - a real walking shoe that has a bit of style to it. Just a little wide in the heel, but a pad takes care of that easily. I’m thinking of ordering another pair.

These shoes are extremely comfortable and attractive. They are true to size. The toe space is a little bit too roomy. The one drawback of these shoes is the "Clarks" label with stitching around it on the footbed where your heel rests; very bad designing. You can feel this.

At first, I was pleasantly surprised by the construction of this shoe, especially the rubber sole. But these cannot be worn comfortably for long, or without socks or hose. In fact, the insole unglued. I would return these if I could, but since I have worn them, I have to keep them and reserve them for office days when I am not in the classroom all day. Big disappointment.

These are cute shoes that look stylish with tights and skirts. They are comfy and light right out of the box, but that comfort does not last all day if you are on your feet all day (I teach). I also tend to prefer platforms because your toes don't dip towards the toe box, as they do a bit here. These do have a light rubber sole, but I think if the rubber sole was made thicker (like a running shoe) and the shoe was made more platform-y, that these could be great and truly made for comfort and durability. The price was a bit high too for the product, but generally happy with these and know they will be worn for years.
