Beautiful classic heeled
loafer. The dark brown leather is nearly black and has no cheesy cheap tint to it: it looks like dark chocolate. The leather itself is extremely high quality, sturdy but flexible, with a good snug fit for my foot. It will eventually stretch a bit, of course, but even brand new I was able to wear these comfortably for a half-hour walk on pavement. Excellent
arch support. No chafing at the heel, either. They look very good with
jeans, great with tights and a woolen
skirt. Better than some expensive Italian shoes I've tried. In short, the autumn shoe I've always wanted. I bought it in black, too.
