I wear these shoes virtually every day in an office environment. Once I got additional
arch support, they are very comfortable. However, after only a few months they are falling apart. In particular, the interior fabric is coming apart at the heel and toe. External parts are coming unglued. I usually get 9 months out of shoes like these;
Rugged Shark is not so rugged.

These are very nice looking, very comfortable shoes. I wish I had never bought them! One big reason for my purchase of these shoes was the non-slip sole. I sell products to restaurants for a living and wanted shoes that would allow me to work in slippery environments. Not only are these not non-slip, they are more slippery than most everyday shoes, especially on wet surfaces. Wearing these shoes on a rainy day is suicide. Who ever heard of "boat" shoes that only work on dry or carpeted surfaces? I've bought $15 non-slip shoes with truly non-slip soles, I don't understand why a company designing shoes at this price can't figure it out. Not recommended.

These are unbelievable shoes. They are so comfortable, they look great, and I can wear them on my boat, around town or even to out to dinner with my wife. Congratulations on building a great, comfortable shoe that does not cost an arm and a leg. Way to go

I just purchased my 3rd pair of
Rugged Shark Atlantics. I love this shoe. It is so comfortable, and has a wide fit. I wear them on my boat, and around town. They are sure footed and I can't believe the value. These shoes would cost more if the brand started with an S. I highly recommend this shoe. You will not be disappointed. I also love the Zappos customer service.

This is the second review I have ever taken the time to write and it's only because I am so happy with this shoe. I am from the coast of Maine and since the '80s, I have always worn the old standard boat shoe from the other folks. But in later years, like a lot of things, I noticed a change in quality. The toes seem to blow out and the sole separated from the uppers. I have had these Sharks now for 6 months and they look and are wearing great. I also wear a pair to work; I install flooring for a living so nothing has ever lasted me. I think you're going to like these.

My old mans favorite shoes. I bought them as a last resort to give him for his birthday 4 years age. He and waits on pins and needles just awaiting his feet to begin causing issues. That first night he said he felt like he was walking on pillows with the perfect support. I loved it, I went from where I lived to Tallahassee 40 miles east than went back and headed 35 miles now and 20 west is a town called Marianna. It happened to be the only pair in my 250+ day trip that I could imagine him wearing.
