I bought these for my son last summer. He has worn them all year to school and they still look just terrific. He says they are very comfy. I will certainly look at buying another pair of North Face shoes when he outgrows them!

Great shoes, great price, super fast shipping! My son saw this shoe in a store and didn't like the color of the display, but the salesperson dropped the ball and we left the store with a sad kid and no shoes! Zappos had the color and the size we wanted and needed. I ordered them at bedtime one night and they were on our front porch when we got home from work and school THE NEXT DAY! Great shoes! Didn't like the color. I ordered the khaki/habanero shoes for myself; I wear a women's size 5.5 and can usually fit into a Youth's size 3.5. I ordered a size 3.5 and a size 4. The size 4's fit just right, so I would say order a 1/2 size larger than your usual size. The photograph of the khaki/habanero shoes appears a few shades darker than the shoes actually are, which is more of a fleshy/melony combination, and not as attractive as they appear in the photo. I used Zappos' VIP service and the shoes were delivered within hours of the time I placed my order, and it will be no hassle for me to return them.

First I have to say, you guys are awesome! My boyfriend wanted to get these shoes for his brother's birthday. His brother was about to turn 33 and wanted to relive his youth, so he bought tickets to a BUSH concert and requested Doc Martens for his birthday. To make it even more fun, this was all done days before his birthday/concert. I was tasked by my boyfriend to find the shoes and "Please get them here by the concert." Well, you guys came through! I placed the order and chose the fastest delivery method possible, and there they were! They arrived the day of the concert at 3:00 PM. He got his Doc Martens, and left for the concert at 5:00 PM.

I've had many pairs of Docs and these are a little tighter than usually marked but are still great shoes. Will work in quickly but are stiff out of the box.

Look no further!!! Best Dr. Martens shoe ever! A year ago I decided it was time to let loose of my Dr. Marten's collection (yes, I am aware that it was a big mistake), some being 20 years old. This is the only new pair out of five recently purchased that felt true straight out of the box. As I have aged my feet have become wider. I also suffer from hammer-toe. No problems with this shoe. Many complain about the new made in China versions. I also purchased a pair of vintage made in the UK ten holes and must say these are better. Complaints of inferior leather are ridiculous to me. While the leather appears to be the same "thickness", the new model is softer and immediately forms to the foot. If you have problems finding classic shoes because of a wide foot or suffer from hammer-toe, BUY THESE SHOES. I also cannot say enough about ZAPPOS. All five recently purchased pairs came from ZAPPOS. Lightning fast-free-next day delivery and the ultimate in costumer service. VIVA ZAPPOS!

Classics never die - Some people say that these shoes are "clownish", but I disagree. I like a shoe that has a larger toe. Smaller, or pointed toes make my feet look ridiculous. I LOVE the look of these shoes. They're old school Dr. Martens, which means... you HAVE to wear them in. They aren't going to feel great day one, but give them a couple weeks and stick it out, and they will be some of the most comfortable shoes you've ever worn. If you're a half size, go up a size and get a good insole to make up the difference. Works like a charm.

ZAPPOS does the BEST JOB getting you the best shoes the fastest. But these new Dr. Martens aren't what they used to be when the company was smaller. They just don’t hold up like they used to, For the record the old soles were way better.
