Nice but not for everyone - This boot is truly unique. The ribbon lacing that goes up the boot is very feminine and what drew me to the boot in the first place. If you have even the slightest bit of a large calf this boot will be tight on the calf. It has a zipper in the inside that goes about half way up the boot so you step into the boot and then have to zip it up on the inside. I don't have large calves but had to hold the two sides together and pull the up in order to get it zipped. I am not keeping this boot. Overall, it just didn't appeal to me. The ribbons are going to be high maintenance over time as they are a silk like material so they wrinkle. I would have to steam them every so often in order for them to lay flat and nice looking and that is just too fussy for me. I want to put something on and go. It is a really pretty boot though and very well made. The stones on the back give it a nice bling factor. I just see these being high maintenance and therefore am sending them back.
