I love these boots! I had been looking for a pair of flat black boots that I liked the look of for months. I visited a friend in NY who owns the gray pair and thought they were so cute that I ordered the black that day. They were waiting for me when I got back to CA! The first couple of times I wore them, the rubbed my ankles a little raw. But now that they are broken in, they feel great. These are really cute with skinny jeans, leggings, or dresses with tights.

Love these boots! They\'re a great blend of riding boot with a dose of biker thrown in. So far they\'ve held up well to the abuse I\'ve thrown at them and I don\'t anticipate having problems with the quality down the road. There\'s a small section of well-camouflaged leather/elastic strips near the top of the zipper that will compensate for wearing these over jeans without making them too baggy when worn with a skirt. The one area I\'ve had some difficulty with is the width, as it\'s pretty tight on the outer edge of my foot in the pinky area. It\'s gotten much better as I\'ve broken the boots in (I should have used a shoe stretcher) but beware of this if you have particularly wide feet.\r\n\r\nOne quick note about color; I think the main photo for Clay is a bit off. I initially ordered these in that but it wasn\'t the rich, warm brown that I had expected (it\'s nearer in tone to some of the close-up shots). Nothing wrong with it, just a slightly lighter, cooler tone that I wanted.

The shoes were shipped within 3 days. The style is sleek and shoe width is thinner than most. The laces tie up much tighter for added support. I know it's best to have laces on top of the shoe for curving the ball, but at 9 years old, it doesn't come into play. I highly recommend the shoe for the price.

Puma Soccer shoes - I am very satisfied with these shoes that I ordered from Zappos.com for my boys. They say they are extremely comfortable and we all know that's important when playing sports. And the service was so fast I was shocked, but really appreciated it.
