I got them in black. But I'm slightly tempted to send them back, so I'm only 80% recommending them. They can be seen just below the knee when I have them on underneath my favorite jeans. I tried them with every pair of jeans in my closet and a few of them you can't see the boot, but the abrupt line underneath my favorite pair of jeans is troublesome. I know I can wear them with dress pants and skirts. I tried tucking my jeans into them and they look alright that way. Otherwise they are: Very Comfortable (but I was hoping for more cushion underneath my heel). Toe box is wide enough to wear with Smart Wool socks. Fit to the calf is great. They have just the right amount of stretch. Also, they are lined (so you don't have the leather feeling on the inside against your calf). Very sleek looking. Fantastic craftsmanship. My thought is the hardware on the top of the boot and height of the boot causes them to show. I might need to get a boot that has a shorter shaft if I want to wear them under jeans. Also, with Ecco heels, I always go a size down. I wasn't sure how it would be with boots because of the addition of socks. I still prefer the size down. I'm a 39 and ordered both the 38 and 39. I prefer the 38.

Best boots I have ever owned. They look great and feel like bedroom slippers. (In response to the previous reviewer, I only wear them with skirts, but I may buy the short ones to wear with pants.) The shaft is a bit tall, but this doesn't bother me. Ecco: Please make them in brown and I will buy those, too!

Style, comfort, and a great price, what more could you ask for? First time I wore these I ended up walking all day, and was amazed how comfortable they were right out of the box. Would highly recommend.

Great boots! Comfortable, stylish, not too high, but high enough that it is flattering to my legs, and they are maintaining their shape very well. Look forward to enjoying them for a long time.

Lazar Rocks! This shoe is not only elegant and classy looking, but also comfortable right out of the box. Looks great with a suit or dress slacks. The leather is super soft. The soles are slippery the first time since they're smooth (no grooves) so wear them outside on cement first or you'll go flying on polished floors or even carpet. I have them in black and want to get a back-up pair in black and also the brown.
