This is by far the best Bass Weejuns model. It can be best described as the ideal balance between a timeless classic design (the Weejun penny loafer) with a contemporary European styling. The toe is more pronounced than in other Bass loafers giving this shoe a modern and stylish edge up. I highly recommend this product; fits true to size. Also side-note, the rubber\/leather out sole is ideal as far as providing a comfortable high-quality leather construction with a non-slip safeguard.

After several pairs of Marshalls Rockport loafers which squeak, I was ready to pay more and thought Bass would be a good, traditional loafer. These are beautifully made shoes, nice mixed composition sole, thick leather on upper. They look much more expensive than they are and my husband was pleased too and said they fit true to size. They look like they will wear well and hold up. I highly recommend!

These shoes look great, feel great, and it’s become my favorite shoes to wear on Sundays! The leather looks beautiful with a glossy shine, but not too glossy. The side wrinkles that are caused by regular wear makes the shoe look even better (on some shoes it looks really bad)! I got it a half size down because people said they run big, but I think it would’ve been ok to get it at my size. It’s a little snug, but not enough to really notice. I’m definitely getting another pair in another color! These shoes are more comfortable than another pair that costs 3 times the amount!

I was curious about the new Bass style after reading about it in the recent GQ article. It is a very comfortable, stylish shoe that works well in both business casual settings during the day, as well as casual nights out. Sizing was comfortable, but if you prefer a tighter fit, order a half size smaller. All in all a great shoe!

Go 1/2 to 1 size down as they are size generously. I usually wear 10.5 and went to a 10 and these are some of the most comfortable dress shoes I own.

A perfect update to the classic Bass Weejun. Preppy and cool, but comfortable. Zappos service is STELLAR! Had to exchange for a smaller size (they run a bit big), and they automatically upgraded to overnight shipping for free both times. Amazing.

These have quickly become my go-to shoes for summer business casual at both office and after work. I like them especially with summer cotton khakis. They are supremely comfortable and very true to size. I added some gel inserts because I do find a bit of slippage on my heels but they have broken in very nicely. The stying is modern with a slender profile but still the Weejun classic remains. Zappos delivery and communications was flawless. I am looking for another great summer shoe and will definitely shop Zappos.

This shoe was featured 2x on GQ Magazine. I think it was the May 2009 issue and another one. The shoes looked really nice and I was looking to order it from the manufacture's website. However, the manufacture's website is still under development and they had a link to Zappos to buy the shoes. This is my first purchase from Zappos and I got to say they are like the Amazon.com of shoes. Good shipping, excellent return policy (although I have never returned anything, but they pay for return shipping and have 365 day return policy). Now back to the shoes. This thing is super comfy. I owned a pair of Steve Maddens and some Ferragamos, but this is far the most comfortable shoes I have worn. In regards to style, it looks really good. I mean come on, it was featured on GQ 2x. Size wise, I wear 7.5 Ferragamos, so I got the 7.5 and it fits pretty well. Feels a little loose with no socks, but if you wear socks it's an okay fit, but I still have some extra room in the front (toe area). 5 Star shoes. I definitely will be buying (if not the same pair) another Bass Dover.

I've had these boots about a week now. Fit is true to size. Comfort is very good, with quick break in and tops don't dig into my ankles. Grip on parking lot snow is pretty good. Reasonably supportive for a 3-eyelet boot. Improvements I would like: a little more arch support and a loop on the back of the boot. Overall, I am pleased with purchase and would recommend if you need a casual boot.

Most Comfortable Shoe in the World - Unfortunately I have developed corns and have become increasingly picky about my shoes. I was going to Belgium for a X-mas vacation and planning on doing a lot of touring walking on the cobble stone streets. I'm back from the trip and I've worn these shoes every day for two weeks and I am amazed at the comfort. Even my most comfortable running shoes don't compare. I usually kick off my shoes on long flights and struggle to put them back on before landing. No need with these. They were very sure footed on wet cobblestones and medieval castle walkways. I can't recommend them too highly. I wish I could get them in a dress shoe finish too.

Not for walking - The mid cut of these boots dug into my ankles, so much so that I had to send them back. They may have just taken some time to break in but I want them comfortable right out of the box.
