Stylish and comfortable. Because of foot problems, I am unable to wear the most stylish "in" shoes. But that doesn't mean I am not style conscious. These shoes are an excellent compromise. They do not look like the typical "comfort" shoe. They are not quite as comfortable as some of my other Mephisto shoes and I am not sure how they will feel after walking around all day in Italy. But I view them as my dressier travel shoe. I ordered a half size larger than I usually order my Mephisto shoes because they looked narrow - that seemed to be a good decision.
