Docs for biking - Wanted motorcycle boots I could walk in and while these don't have the extra ankle protection I'd like, they are very comfortable for all day wear. I added Keens insoles for better foot support and they are fine for walking a couple of miles. The lacing makes them fit well and the zipper facilitates a quick on/off. Adding SnoSeal made them waterproof.

Great looking boots! If only they came in half sizes... I love these boots, but I really wish that they came in half sizes. I tried them in two different sizes, and ended up deciding to go with the slightly large boots because the smaller ones were too tight when I tried them on (they pinched, ouch). The larger boots rub a little in the heel, but I am planning to buy inserts.

Impossible! How did they get here in a few hours? I ordered these boots after 6pm last night, and they arrived before lunch at my office today. That's impossible! I'm extremely pleased with the service and the boots; they're Docs so of course they're great. I didn't know what size to get (I'm a US 8 1/2) so I ordered UK 6, rather then UK 7, which I've tried before and was too big. They are a perfect fit, which might be problem for thick socks, but once they're broken in I'm sure they'll be ok. The "black smooth" color is nice, dressy even, as I plan to wear these to work.

Yay! Zappos came through with flying colours and delivered my beloved Docs in time for Burning Man, they fit like a glove and despite having only two days to wear them in, they were comfortable on the playa. Now I'm back in the real world, I'm going to condition the leather to make it nice and soft. Thank you, Zappos

I read all the reviews before deciding on these boots. I was looking for a knee boot. I have to agree with the review from Jill B. in Akron, Ohio. They do run a little big, as I had to go down one size from my normal size. I got the black smooth. They will be great for casual or dressing up a little. I have not had a chance to wear them yet, but I think they are going to be my do not leave home without them boots this winter! They have great tread for the snow! I was also worried about these boots being a look for the younger generation. Not at all ladies! I am 40 year old mom of a toddler! Go for it and enjoy these boots!!
