The shoes are great. No leaks. Great hiking shoe.\r\nOnly complaint is that the upper shoe hokes dig alittle in the side of the foot.

I am planning a trip to New Zealand in March to do some treking on their famous nature walks. I wanted a sturdy, but light weight boot for those walks. I am in the breaking in process for my new Merrell boots and they are proving to be the best performing boots I have ever owned. To get in shape for the vacation walks, I have been walking 5-10 miles each day. To date, I am very pleased with the Merrell Chameleon3 boots. They felt good from the first walk and continue to give me the support that I want and need. At 61 years of age, I need all the help I can get.

These are my husband’s favorite shoes. He is 6’7� tall and very rough on shoes, these are the only ones that last. They keep his feet warm and dry on the cold snowy days. Great shoe would definitely a good buy.

I bought this shoe basically to get around better in the snow and ice because my friend had a similar pair of Merrells. It is so much more than just a good traction winter shoe. I've been through the woods in it, through snow, rain and my feet always stay 100% dry and the comfort & support this shoe provides my feet is far superior than any shoe I've ever owned. I can't wait to go hiking in this shoe this spring!

Are you kidding? These are the best lightweight hiking boots I have worn in a long time. Out of the box and straight to the hills of Tennessee for a boar hunt. Walked miles in these without break in. Gore-Tex liner kept feet dry during wet crossings. Fit was excellent and drove my initial purchase. The traction of the sole was superb whether on slippery rocks or wet side hills. Very happy with these boots. I bought two pair one in each color with plans to return one of them. Nope, they are both staying here. Thanks Merrell for a great pair of shoes, and thanks Zappos.
