I bought these Campers when my son's pair of Jumping Jacks wore out. These are very cute and can be worn with jeans or khaki's. They are very supple with one of the most comfortable, flexible footbeds I have seen in a boy's shoe. The elastic shoelaces with lace-locks are an added plus since he'll be able to get his shoes on without any help (I for one, will be happy to see the Velcro shoes go away). One caveat... they run LARGE. There was a huge difference in fit between the 12 (EU 30) and the 11.5 (EU 29). I originally purchased the size 12 to give him a bit of room to grow, but they were very large and fairly wide. But when I ordered an 11.5, they fit "too well" (less than a pinch between his big toe and the edge of the shoe) and he would have no room for growth. When running around the house, he said the larger pair felt better on his feet. I opted for the size 12 and he's in a thicker socks for now.

My kids love these sandals - My sons age 4 and 6 both love wearing these sandals. They have received numerous compliments on the great pattern. They are very easy to slip on and off. I would definately recommend these great sandals.

Perfect shoes for boys! My 4-year-old son loves these shoes. I have worn Birks for years, but these are his first pair. They are definitely MUCH larger than we expected; I bought him a pair of Teva sandals at the same time, ostensibly the same size, and they fit immediately, while these are really still a bit too big. However, we just pull the straps tight and he is fine. I have noticed that even with rather light wear that the leather gets marked where one shoe hits the other along the inside near the toe, but this may be more obvious on these shoes because of the camouflage pattern. Overall, a great shoe, and quite a hit with every boy who sees them :-)

Can't go wrong with Birks!!! My son loves his first pair of Birks (I have about 10). The only problem is that he has worn them so much that the outside has already peeled off some. Other than that he has not complained and let me tell you my boy is picky when it comes to shoes!!!
