Can La Canadienne not make a boot that's perfect?? This is my third pair, and they are comfortable right out of the box, no breaking in. The platform sole is actually some type of rubber material, but doesn't look it. So, for the height of the sole and heel, the rubber makes them practical and safer for ice, slippery snow, etc. They are warm, beautiful, and comfortable. I must say though, I wish the toe was just a bit less rounded, but that probably adds to the comfort factor.

These boots are great! Really well made, and comfortable even for all-day city walking. They do run a bit on the wide side in the foot, and the calf is a narrower fit. They are also VERY warm, which I was looking for.

Gorgeous! So disappointed that I couldn\'t zip one. (Does that make me an ugly step sister?) So beautiful however, that I gave them to a not-so-well-endowed-in-the-calf, friend. Lucky Cinderella!

They are sexy and comfy. Wear them around for awhile. May feel a little snug at first, but they loosen up. I don\'t recommend going up a half size more.

These shoes fit great and required very little break-in. I bought them to wear around town, but was surprised how well they did when I was hiking easy mountain trails.
