Dance Shoe - I do like the shoe but it is too tight in the toe on my left foot. I think a larger size would be entirely too long and perhaps not narrow enough in the heel. Will look for a toe fashioned more as a baby doll (rounded).

Tic Tac Toe's Peggy - Just the shoe for square dancing. They fit perfect. True to size but stretched a little the 2nd time I wore them.

Good comfortable theater shoe - The pair of these I received included one shoe with the instep strap cut way too short. Even on the very slender actress I bought them for, it didn't even reach the buckle. Fortunately, I needed to replace that strap with elastic for a fast costume change, so it wasn't an issue for me. The shoe is a bit frumpy-looking, which again was fine for the character on stage, but it's a bit dowdy for real life. Very comfortable, though!

They work, but they could be better - I have to say, these shoes could be better. However, since they're for a once-a-week dance class where 3% of the grade is taken off for every time I don't have good shoes on, I haven't returned them. My biggest problem is that they're slightly small. Where I usually wear a 10, the 10 is far too small. In addition, I have to wear socks to pad against the very rough back of the shoe. For some reason, the backing is very poorly made, so I have blisters from attempting to wear them with bare feet and failing. As far as the mechanics go, the suede bottom is very smooth and I'm able to twirl easily in them, which is fun. They serve their purpose well. But my advice is this: Make sure to order a size larger and be prepared to wear socks.

Dance a lot! The shoe was comfortable and slid nicely around the dance floor. However, in one evening of dance they stretched more than they should have. It makes me doubt the quality and next time I will go to a more expensive shoe by the British company you carry.

You get what you pay for. It is a big mistake to get cheap dance shoes. Good dance shoes cost at least 100 dollars for a number of reasons: soft quality leather, steel shank support for the instep, quality suede soles that do not separate from the shoe and the ability to deal with foot wear and tear and sweat. The lessons here is, don't go cheap for dance shoes. Go to a manufacturer like Paoul, Capezio, Bloch, Ray Rose that specializes in these shoes.
