I wanted these shoes a lot but didn't want to spend this much money for shoes for work and leisure. But then I received them as a gift and couldn't be happier. They truly feel better on sore feet than any shoe I've owned. All surfaces that touch your foot are leather and add to the comfort. I usually wear a 10.5-11, but ordered an 11-11.5. They fit great, so I'm pretty sure they run a little small. They also are snug around they top of the foot, but quickly break-in and seem to mold to your foot. The quality is superior, I
guess that's how they justify the price. Zappos is also great to deal with. The shoes were ordered on Saturday and arrived on Tuesday. It's been at least four years since I've purchased shoes from anyone other than Zappos.

I have been trying for almost a year to find an all-black pair of Eccos to replace an existing pair. Whether my local shoe store or online vendors, all were able to get a combination of black and coffee or brown. Once again, Zappos came to the rescue! The shoes are perfect and exactly as described. Every time that I have purchased from Zappos, I have been pleased and wonder why I bother shopping locally.

Ties a half-size smaller than my Rockports and Reeboks, and they fit perfectly. Even if they hadn't, with an easy online return merchandise authorization process and free return shipping label, you're only out a few minutes of your time to return a purchase that doesn't fit or meet your expectations. I recommend Zappos without reservation.

Very well made shoe - like wearing
gloves on your feet. They tend to be very snug in the lace-up area and toe box on a 3-dimensional basis. I took a size 12-12.5 and I am still only wearing them indoors to hopefully break them in. I certainly wish they were made in 12.5-13.

boots are smokin'! I'm taking the time to write this review because I found other customer reviews helpful. I ordered half a size smaller than usual and, voila, the reviews were right: perfect size. The heel does slip, but I expected that, hence only 4 stars. The leather is imperfect, but consider it "patina". Zappos service was excellent, even at Christmas when they were crazy busy. Friendly, professional service and the lovely lady who answered my desperate phone call to sort out my internet ordering problems made magic happen. A first rate business.

Very comfortable, color slightly off -
This was a very comfortable and well made shoe. I really liked the style and feel of the shoe. I got the stone color, and I couldn't tell from the picture that the shoe has a greenish tint. Otherwise perfect. The leather is very soft and the sole is comfortable. Runs slightly large.
