Toasty warm (some days too warm, but I haven't hit the frigid winter temps yet). Roomy. Wedge heel is perfect height for active pedestrian lifestyle, but still very good looking. I've only had them a few weeks, but you can tell they're going to wear well. More comfortable to wear with longer socks as the neck is taller than most ankle boots (which I think will be a nice feature in the winter).
