Cushy, but not quite comfy, and slippery even when NOT wet - While the heel and really the whole footbed are nice and cushy, yet supportive, if you happen to have your foot a little further back and step on the seam, it hurts. Also the straps irritated the top and sides of my foot in a couple places -- something that might not be so bad after breaking in, or if you add a little moleskin in certain spots. However, one could maybe overlook all of that if not for the slippery sole. Even on carpet these sandals make you feel like you're walking on a slick surface. There's just no traction. That is really the main reason I can't keep them. Too bad, they are really cute.
