Very comfortable with great arch support. The only problem I had was the laces started to fray almost immediately. Not sure if these were defective from the start or not. Otherwise, do feel great and excellent for walking with no break in.

My daughter bought me a pair in black, they are excellent! I bought another in brown and would love to find the gray. Inside on the tongue of the shoe is elastic. This helps hold the shoe tight around the middle of your foot instead of having to tie the shoe tight. I need extra room in the toe and my foot is a little smaller than a size 8 which generally causes my foot to slide in a shoe and make them very uncomfortable and the bottoms of my feet sore. This fit like a glove without smothering your feet. Going to buy some for mom, too.

I normally wear a standard size 7.5. These shoes fit my feet perfectly and didn\'t need any break-in time. I am extremely happy with the comfort of the shoes, as I generally bike or walk 1-2 miles a day and am on my feet a lot at work. They also seem to be relatively water proof. I would highly recommend these shoes and will consider buying Ahnu brands in the future.

This is a great shoe. Very comfortable and easy to walk in. Nice and light, there is no foot fatigue at the end of the day.

I love these shoes; they are just what I expected. They are exactly as shown in the picture. The little bits of pink don't bother me as they did other reviewers. I anticipate wearing them for casual activity. This shoe is really comfortable and has as much support as I need. I am right between an 8 1/2 and a 9; the 8 1/2 fit perfectly.

These are terrific walking shoes, very lightweight, wide in the toe box. The soles of my feet are very "bumpy", and after a few days of molding the shoes to my feet, the Ahnus were extremely comfortable. I took them to Marrakech, walked around all day on stone streets, and my feet never got sore or tired.

Really comfortable shoes. After a foot injury, it is difficult to find shoes that are comfortable to wear all day. Normally I wear Mephistos, but these are as good or better and less expensive. They are reasonably water proof, too.

They are a little wide on me, but other than that they fit true to size. I will probably be able to just pull the laces tight and wear a thicker sock. So far they are completely comfortable. When I first tried them on it was late evening and my toes felt like they were rubbing up against the hard top of the shoe and I thought oh oh, might not work. But the next day I wore them for several hours and they felt great. I got black to wear with black pants but they also look really cute with blue jeans. Might have to get the grays ones too.

This is my second pair of brown Ahnu sneakers. For me, these are everyday shoes. I go to work in them, go shopping, and occasionally go on very mild hikes in them. It took over a year to wear my previous pair of Ahnus out, and it wasn't because they looked bad, but the soles were just too worn to support my feet properly. They're comfy and supportive, but don't stick out like bright white sneakers tend to do.

I was looking for a dressy looking tennis shoe for a trip to New York City and this one had good reviews on comfort. I love them and am going to order another style in black. Never worn this brand, but it's on my favorites list now.

Love this shoe! Purchased in the black satin. I fell in love with this shoe once I tried it on. Very old Hollywood pinup glamor. I've worn them around the house but as with most SW shoes they don't really need to be "broken in." Can't wait until I have an event worthy of wearing them as they truly are beautiful and feel as though they will be comfortable even when worn for several hours. Much more stunning in person than in the photos. Highly recommend.

The perfect evening shoe - I love this shoe! I bought the ruby in a size 9, I usually wear an 8.5 but Stuart Weitzman shoes tent to run a half size smaller than some. It is gorgeous; the color is so rich, it is simple but fabulous. It is not the most comfortable shoe but what 3 ¾” heel is? I paired mine with a designer rouched silk red dress and received endless compliments on the shoes.

Just adorable - These shoes are for my wedding and they are stunning. I love how the flower is not your typical rosette, but looks more like the ranunculus flower (think pudgy roses) and adds another dimension to the shoe. I am so glad I bought them. Caution, it's a 3.5 inch heel so they are far from comfortable. I will need to build up my tolerance leading up to my wedding, but it will be worth it.

These are absolutely amazing. I bought them in ruby red for my wedding as well and they are stunning. I have a wide foot and these will need some breaking in, but not too much. They are high but comfortable if you are used to high heels. I normally wear size 8 and got these in 8.5. The 8 fit but 8.5 felt more comfortable, although I might have to insert a little insole. They look even better than on the picture – the color is so rich, just breathtaking. Worth every penny.

Sexy and painful - I found this pair of SW shoes and I fell in love with them. I bought them in red - for my wedding shoes. I just couldn't resist their beauty! Tried to walk in them at home to break them in a little and they are so painful! The heel is about 4" tall, and there is no way to walk in them or have these on for longer than 20 minutes. Oh, and the red is not really the bright red shown on the photo - they are much darker in color - I think they are called "ruby red". I wear size 8 and I had to buy 8.5. Great looking shoe, but not for walking!

Fabulous shoes! I bought these shoes in red for my wedding and they are gorgeous! I have been on the hunt for the perfect pair of red shoes and these are even better than what I imagined! I've yet to wear them, but I would go into debt for these babies any day. I'm an 8 1/2 or 9, and I had to get a 9.

Love em, but painful. Wore them to my engagement party with a silver and black dress. Looked killer and everyone thought they were Louboutins. Was so high on love didn't feel them for most of the evening - Awww! But, wore them later with the same ensemble to a wedding and they weren't too fun to wear. But hey, what in that height is? If you want the look, they're as comfy as you can ask for. I'm not too tall. I want the look. Glad I got the shoe.

Gorgeous @ stylish shoes. However, only bearable if you plan to ride in a car, get straight to a dinner table, walk around just for a bit, but mostly sit down. More than 15 mins walk/ standing makes it very uncomfortable. Thus, great for sit down dinner occasions.

Heartbroken and shoeless - This shoe is fierce. After falling in love with the style and quality, I was sad that the 7 was too tight and the 7.5 was too large. It broke my heart to send them back. I thought I was a 7 but I just could not walk in these. I was so tempted to keep the larger size but I would need a large insert and the backs slipped off when I walked. I am a true 7 and this shoe runs a bit short. I wish I could suffer for this shoe.

Here we go again. It's impossible for a size 4, 4.5 to wear a heel of this height. I've only tried on this shoe (elsewhere) and it's gorgeous but not for me, unfortunately. Stuart isn't producing enough platform shoes for this kind of style, therefore I'm ruled out automatically. I don't like to feel that I must compromise all the time. I don't like to be relegated to simpler styles just because I have a small foot. Anyhoo, I found this shoe to be a little narrow and I would order a half size larger. Boo hoo - this is a beautiful shoe.
