I bought these shoes in black patent leather. Not only are they flattering to the foot but they are also incredibly comfortable, even after 8 hours of wearing them. I think of myself as a very stylish person and would highly recommend these shoes. I am a big fan of French Sole!

Although I’m usually a size 10 1/2, this shoe runs roomy so I took a 10. Very very comfy; does not irritate my wide feet.

Extremely comfortable ballet flat. I found this newer version of the Passport to be slightly bigger than the original one (that had a leather sole and heel). While I'm an 8 in many brands, the 7.5 French Sole usually fits me like a glove.

Great ballerina flats! I\'ve had bad luck with ballerina flats in the past, but I was pleasantly surprised by these. They fit very well (true to size), are super comfortable, and they are well made. Since I am not used to wearing super-flat shoes, I put an insole in them for a little added padding, but they are comfortable with or without the insole. I would not recommend these shoes if you are going to be seriously pounding the pavement all day -- I tried this and my feet did get sore, but for work or just strolling around town they are great! I\'m so glad that I decided to give them a try! I\'m looking forward to my next pair of French Sole shoes.

Great ballet flats, but I wished I had bought them 1/2 size smaller, as they run large...

I originally purchased this great shoe using my normal shoe size of 8 1/2. The shoe runs long and I had to return it for a size 8 which fit perfectly. This elegant little slipper shoe is incredibly comfortable and can be worn dressed up or dressed down. I've had so many compliments on this shoe! A great find and definitely worth the money.

These shoes are great looking; however, they definitely run large. I am always a size 8 especially in ballet flats and the size 8 was quite large on me. Waiting to receive the 7 1/2.

Beautiful design, very comfortable. These run a bit large or should I say, wide.

I ordered one size smaller! Very comfortable and very happy with my purchase and the ease of exchanging for a smaller size. Thanks Zappos!

  • You may be more comfortable sizing downward for open-back models (for example, if you are a US size 6.5, you may want to choose EU size 36).
  • Your heel should be either even with or slightly forward of the back of the clog.
  • Toes should not hit the front of the clog.
  • Dansko's most traditional open-back style with lightly padded instep collar.
  • High quality leather upper follows the natural contours of the foot.
  • Oiled Leather is a heavily oiled, matte-finish leather with optimal pliability and moisture resistance. Oiled Nubuck has the same closely napped, silky feel as Nubuck, but with noticeably more oil tanned into the leather. Naturally occurring blemishes are slightly more visible in these tannages and suggest a more rugged appearance. Latigo leather has a smooth, tight grain and semi-gloss to transparent finish.
  • Instep collar is generously padded.
  • Roomy Thermoplastic toe box provides durable reinforcement and toe protection while allowing toes to move comfortably.
  • Vegetable tanned leather lining allows the shoe to mold to the natural shape of the foot.
  • Antimicrobial Poliyou® foam in the footbed absorbs and evaporates perspiration for a healthy foot environment.
  • Protective Polyethylene heel counter allows the heel to move up and down when walking. Also provides lateral stability and acts as a natural shoe horn.
  • PVC inner frame provides stability and reduces torque and pronation.
  • Polyurethane outsole provides shock absorption and flexibility, withstands surfaces of extreme heat and cold, and protects feet, legs and back during long hours of standing or walking.
  • Rocker bottom propels the foot forward when walking.
  • Dansko Stapled clog outsoles are designed to be suitably slip resistant in workplace environments where excesses of vegetable oils and animal fats are present. Slip resistant tests have been carried out by SATRA, the world's leading research and technology organization for the footwear industry.
  • Dansko's Stapled Clog Collection proudly carries the Seal of Acceptance from the American Podiatric Medical Association.

Comfort after work - I love these clogs! After a 9 hour work day in 4 inch heels, I can't wait to get home and slip into my Dansko clogs. They are the absolute most comforatable shoes I have ever put on my feet. They are my weekend shoe as well. I can slip them on and run around all weekend in them. I get so many compliments on them.

"Super Clogs" I own three pairs in different styles. I work 12 hour shifts and these clogs are life savers. I would recommend these clogs to everyone.

Great buy/Great shoe - This is an awesome shoe. The red is a very neutral color, so it's versatile. It has smooth, clean lines which make it dressy or casual. It's unbelievably comfortable. (The first day I wore them for nine hours.) They also have a nice arch support.

I was so excited to find these clogs. I live in my Merrels and Birkenstocks and wanted a pair of clogs, but wooden bottoms are so uncomfortable. Unfortunately, when I received the clogs they were so wide thast there was no way my feet would stay in them. I have sort of narrow feet, but meduims usually fit me fine. I had to send them back. I suugest possibly offering a narrow version that is tighter across the arch to hold the feet in.

Comfy Like Butter - These shoes were exactly what I was looking for. They feel like air when you slip them on. They are light weight and easy to walk in. I would buy them in every color.

Running Small - Beautiful shoes, but run 1/2 size small at least. Unfortunately, the largest size was not large enough for me.

Dansko Sonja - The Sonja clog was smaller than other Dansko clogs that I own and wear everyday! I would like to try a different pair of same size in hope it's just an error in the marked sizing.

Dansko Sonja - I have worn the Dansko Sonja for years. I have grafted skin on my feet and because there are no interior seams on the shoes, I do not have a problem seams causing irration to my feet.

Comfortable, attractive clog - Really comfortable, true to [European] size. Having a narrow foot, slipping over the sides is still a problem, probably due to me and not the shoe.

I've had Danskos for about 5 years and they are the most long lasting and comfortable shoe there is. I purchased the blue and it looks great with jeans and jean skirts. If you have to walk a lot and stand on your feet, Danskos are the best. My husband finally purchased a pair of sport clogs and he was always teasing me about how they look (he is a high heel man), but now he knows why I wear them.
