These shoes looked very similar to the pictures shown, except that they shine a bit more than I expected (the gray mesh part). Zappos' service and delivery was as usual outstanding!

Three initial comments: Wow! This shoe is light weight. Styling is what I expected, but the sole is a bit chunky due to the technology behind it. Did not like the sole technology at all. Liked the idea of the shoe, but don't like the shoe. I recommend wearing them around the house on carpet for awhile before hitting the streets. My daughter thought they were "really you daddy", but in the end it's all about comfort and these shoes just don't make the grade. A bit spending compared to other brands.

I got hooked on earth shoes three years ago when my wife made me buy a pair of Earth sandals in Maui. Reluctantly, I wore them and to my surprise they were everything they advertised. I now can only wear earth shoes when I walk more than a quarter mile-all others hurt my feet-even Rockports! These boots are my third pair of Earth shoes and they are the best. First, they are extremely lightweight; second, they support my weak ankles; third-they look great! And the best part is that they were cheaper at Zappos than anywhere else!!
