VOLATILE FLIP FLOPS - I ordered these in brown, black and pewter and I have to say the overall look and comfort was exceptional, considering they have a significant heel for being a flip flop but I'm only 5'5 so I need height, even when it comes to wearing flip flops. The only problem I had with them was after several hours of walking these NYC streets, the top of my feet became red, irritated and formed little blisters where the straps met the skin. As for the bottom of my feet, extremely comfortable, I felt like I was walking on air so I suggest to wear them at home before you decide to break them in on the outside and if that doesn't work, just put a Dr. Scholl’s cushion to prevent the friction and eventually they will stretch. You can wear them casually/dressy.

I have worn Volatile sandals for the last 5 summers (the same pair). They are worth their weight in gold! Their comfort level will take you through the day and night. So Glad I found them on Zappos. I wanted another pair, and now I can get several!

I purchased the sandals because I liked the style an acquaintance was wearing. I asked her where she got the sandals and she was so excited to tell me. She told me she bought them through Zappos.com and the name brand is Volatile. She told me that they are the most comfortable sandal she has ever worn. I, too, agree with her experience. You can wear the sandals with anything! If you are in the half sizes, I recommend you choose the next size up. I love the Volatile sandal!
