I am going off of what my son who's 8 is saying about his basketball shoes. He says they feel good. I did buy them a little big so he can wear them for awhile. I would say that they are true to size. They come with different color inserts for the stripes, so if you like a different color you can switch out, an added bonus.

My son really likes these shoes and he is very hard to please. This is our third pair of Adidas shoes and we are very impressed with how well these shoes hold up to rough and tumble playground and basketball court conditions. Zappos was great!
