I was hesitant to buy another pair of Docs, having had several pairs in college, all of which hurt like crazy during the month-long break-in period. But, after I wore through the sole of my
Skechers boots this summer, I needed something, so I decided to take a chance on these. I haven't regretted it. There's been basically no break-in period with these
boots. I wore them for a couple of hours each day the first two days I had them, and my feet were comfortable each time (I also threw some heel cushions in, but I do this with most of my
boots). So I decided to try them for a full work day, and they were great -- I found them very comfortable to walk in. I've had them now for nearly a month, and wearing them nearly every day I've had no problem with blisters or other pain. I will say that there's only minimal cushioning in the foot-bed, so I'm looking around for a good pair of
insoles for these to make them a bit more comfortable on long days. But overall I'm really happy with these
boots.
