These insoles are designed as replacements to be used in Allen-Edmonds shoes, but they can be used in other shoes as well. They are useful for people who have trouble finding shoes they like in narrow widths. Inserting these insoles in a pair of D width shoes makes them fit a person with B width feet.

Great Ortho Insoles - Before I found Zappos leather Orthotic insoles I had looked everwhere on the the internet and no one else offered such a product and at such a great price. You see I have problem feet and have to wear shoes with leather insoles so that my feet can breath. Zappos leather insoles where great. They offered comfort, quality as well as a great price. I especially like the ventelation, and they where so comportable. They provided my feet with that extra cushiony support. This product was great and i would definitely buy them again as well as tell my friends about them.

Superb orthotic insoles - Recently bought a pair of slightly used Rockport DressSports oxfords on eBay for very little money. The catch was, the insoles were missing. I bought these and cut them to fit the Rockport shoe. They are even more supportive and cushiony than the famous Rockport insoles. The result - an amazingly comfortable pair of shoes. Highly Recommended!

Blisters and false advertising. First, these soles claim to fit a number of shoe sizes. But to get them to fit your shoes you have to cut them a long a barely visible line. Not an easy task. Second, these caused my most comfortable shoes to make blisters where the shoe hit the back of my ankle. Finally, becuase I was forced to cut the soles to modify them I cannot return these useless, uncomfortable, comfort in-soles.

Great replacement insoles - I have a great pair of very expensive slip-ons that I wear without socks. The insoles had badly deteriorated and every shoe repair shop I had tried (for $25-40) had unaccdeptable replacements. These insoles, however, are superb! Comfortable, easy to put in place, and good looking. They are somewhat thick, however, and wouldn't work well in shoes with a tight fit.

More comfortable than original insoles - I have not had occasion to use them much at this point, but they are very comfortable.

Orthotic Insoles - These insoles have made it possible for me to wear my rubber boots again when working in my pasture in rain or dew.

Allen Edmonds Orthotics have changed - Recently while in the company store in Manhattan, I discovered that Allen Edmonds has changed the orthotic inserts in their shoes. While still much better than average, the new cork based units are not as supportive or cushioned as before. The ones I received from Zappos are better than the new store ones, but not as thick as the ones from 3-5 years ago. Oh progress!!!

Like walking on air - I will never buy a pair of gel insoles again.
