Just discovered this most comfortable brand of shoe, from the first time I put it on I could wear it all day. I have since purchased 2 more pair in different styles. It does run 1/2 size large.

Gentle Souls are the best, most comfortable shoes!
Ever since I tried
Gentle Souls (I have four pairs of different styles now), I find it difficult to wear any other type of shoes. They are elegant yet understated, and can be worn both on casual and dressy occasions. I always get compliments when I wear them.

Absolutely fabulous! I was a little reluctant to order them because of the price tag; but they're worth every penny! I wore them the first time on an eight-hour shift on my feet with no problems. They have hidden stitching around the shoe where it meets the sole so no worries about holes here; they're very well made. I have a wider foot, and these fit well. I will definitely be ordering more from this brand.

These are better than my

These are amazing shoes. I have a wide foot, and they run pretty wide, so no need to order up for width. They are beautiful and incredibly comfy! Great with
jeans, but also works for work and
dress up. Look almost black in person.

These hurt where they met the top of my foot. The material is kind of sticky and rubbery, and the stitching was rough. I love the footbed, but I have to return them.

These are very comfortable but not very stylish. I wear a 10 M or 10 W based on the shoe. This fit me in a medium with no problem. The shoe is made of very soft leather so it will give a lot. Has an oblique toe. I do not know how well they will wear for the price. This style is also touted by the Eileen Fisher line of
clothing. The inside of the shoe is very comfortable with padding and a little
arch support pillow. Would generally wear with casual clothes or for travel.

Great looking, but...
Love the look of this shoe! I have another pair of
Gentle Souls and they are the most comfortable shoes ever. When I received these I tried them on after a long day at work and they felt a bit sung across the toe. I thought it was because my feet were swollen & tired. The next day I tried them on again (several times) and they still were snug. I think it is because the style of the shoe curves around the big toe right where I have a bunion and rubs there. I really wanted to keep these shoes but I knew if they were hitting the bunion and sore I could not wear them. I will still look for other
Gentle Souls but will be aware of style.

I was prepared to love these shoes, but I have become very unhappy with the way they destroy every pair of stockings I wear with them. When I first got them I wore them without stockings, but now that snow is flying and I desire a little more warmth, I've found there is a rough spot on the inside of each shoe in the trim piece that goes all around the top of the shoe that wears a hole or snags every sock or stocking I wear, immediately. I expect more from a pair of shoes at this price. Perhaps I just got the lemon, but as cute as these shoes are I can't recommend them.
