Simple Carload in Chocolate -
I bought these shoes for my husband who is extremely fussy about shoes. They have to be a simple style (I
guess the name says it all with this brand) and comfortable for long walks. He walks a lot for his work commute and is very satisfied with the comfort and look of these shoes. They were true to size so there was no need to reorder.

Good for now, Great for the future -
Just got my new Simple shoes. They're great but the bottoms, which I know are made of some recycled materials, show some fabric thru the rubber. So once you wrap your mind around the fact that shoes made of post consumer materials will tend to show what they are made of they are great. Also Zappos shipping is awesome!

Nice basic "
tennis" shoe. It's comfortable, but doesn't have a lot of
arch support. Overall, I like the idea of the use of sustainable materials, and they're comfortable enough that I'd recommend buying this shoe.

I had a hard time finding comfortable
vegan brown shoes, and these fit the bill well. I still don't know how long these will last, but they are relatively stylish (for being non-leather) and comfortable. While Zappos lists the Chocolate and Natural Carloads as suede upper, they are actually hemp, and are
vegan.

This shoe doesn't really have much in the way of support, but I prefer my shoes that way as I have flat feet. Very comfortable.

A good, simple shoe -
As with all new shoes, it was a bit of a tight fit at first, but after about a week it was nicely broken in. The shoe breathes well and it looks nice. If you're in a winter or generally wet climate then be aware that the top of the shoe is slightly porous so your
socks may get slightly wet. The shoe looks
sharp in a nice, basic style sort of way.

These are nice everyday shoes. They ran a 1/2 size smaller, as all Simple shoes do. There's not much support but they're still comfortable and I like the "green" idea behind them to wear recycled products.

Simple Carload shoes. These are by far the best shoes I've ever owned. They are extremely comfortable and look nice. Better than
Converse,
Puma,
Adidas, old Airwalks,
Vans, etc., no need for
insoles. I got the chocolate ones, and the upper part is made from hemp, not suede. The material is soft but feels pretty sturdy. The shoes are true to size. The only small complaint might be the little loop in the back sometimes gets in the way of
pants, that's about it. Great shoes. Would buy again.
