Love these Frye boots. I have 5 pair of Frye boots. I could live in them. They are comfortable and I love how they look with skirts, short and long, and pants, in or out.

I just received this boot in Brown and I love it! It was exactly what I have been looking for...I have not seen this style in any store. The new lug sole makes the classic campus boot more comfortable...I plan on wearing these for years to come.

Those boots are absolutely terrific. They are not too rough and tough for skirts, but still absolutely "empowering"! Very comfortable and the best footwear for New England's fall and winter weather. The fit is true to size, quality excellent. I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend them to anybody who is looking for a sleek, tough, universal and comfortable boot with a bit of attitude.

Love these boots! I wear them under and over jeans, and with skirts, and tights. I usually like leather soles, but I am going on a snowy trip this winter and wanted boots with rubber soles. But these are so comfy, I wear them all the time. Nice heel to give me more height, but I can barely feel it. Great quality! I went down 1/2 size like my Frye harness boots.

I wanted a nice looking black boot that had a sole that could be worn in winter. These are perfect! One mistake I made was ordering a half size larger to accomodate thicker socks. It was not necessary. Even if they were snug with a half size smaller, they would form and stretch enough that the larger size is not needed. All in all, a great boot - I've received several compliments on them!

These boots are perfect with skirts, dresses and jeans. They are classic and will never go out of style. And, they're comfortable! I can stand/walk for hours in these boots. As far as sizing, they run about a half size too big. I just wear with heavier socks. Love them!

This is my first review on Zappos. The Frye Campus 14G boots are GORGEOUS. The quality is unbelievable. They were very comfortable out of the box. They ran a half size too big for me. (I ordered my true size, 7, and they too big even with thick socks.) The circumference was perfect for my calf. I am 5’2” and about 115 lbs. I haven’t measured my calves, but I had an easy time getting the boots over skinny jeans. I’m sending them back because they are too big and I changed my mind about the color. I got the Brown Leather and it just didn’t look right with some of my jeans. Sadly, Zappos is sold out of the Black in my correct size :( Although I love the boot and perhaps could deal with the color and size, I can’t justify spending this much money unless the boots are PERFECT.

Lovely boot. Great update to the campus boot with the lug sole. As usual for Frye's I ordered a 1/2 size smaller and the fit was perfect. I got brown, which is more like a cognac in person. Zappos is the best! I got my boots the next day!

I bought these for the fall and I love the classic, simple style and the rich leather. My only complaint is that the sizing is way off. I normally wear an 8 1\/2 and ordered an 8 because I heard they run large. The 8\'s were way too big, so I exchanged them for 7 1\/2\'s, which are still too big. This will be my last attempt to get these boots to fit before I give up.

Best boots ever! Love them. The do scuff up pretty easily, but IMO that's part of the look. They're pretty comfortable and undoubtedly with grow even more so as they break in. I love the color and the vibram lug sole.

The best sandals ever! These are the best sandals I have ever owned. The year I bought them I wore them every day from mid-May through Mid-November. Usually I take my shoes off the minute I get home, but I would find myself wearing my Mephistos 'til I went to bed. They are stylish and comfortable. What more could you want?

don't end up at the foot dr! Stay away from this sandal if you have a narrow foot.! They're great looking but a real problem for someone with a less than wide foot. I wore this sandal almost daily last summer and I ended up with some serious foot problems. I acutally visited a podiatrist for the first time in my life! I suggest the Elka for someone with a less than narrow foot. Not as stylish but definately comfortable.

My favorite sandals! I have bought a pair of these every spring for the last several years. From the first day I wore them, I found them the most comfortable sandals I have ever owned.

Cathie - I have very long toes and thought that the ridge would pose a problem. Not so. The only problem I have with the Helen is that the buckle and subsequent strap has brused the top of my right foot. There does not seem to be enough "give" in the sole to prevent this. Other than that, the arch support is phenominal, which is the main reason I bought a Mephisto shoe. I give you 5 stars for arch support. Love the style - it's casual and also somewhat dressy.

Better than Berks - I own about 8 pairs of Berks and now 3 pairs of Mephisto's. I doubt I'll ever go back to Berks. This shoe -"Helen" is great, comfortable, and I love the arch support.

Sleek, stylish comfort -better than Birkis! I *adore* these sandals. I bought my pair almost four years ago when I was looking for a sandal that would be comfortable enough for all the walking I do, but designed with a bit more flair than the stereotypical clunky, strappy Birkenstocks. The black patent Helens were calling to me...and I haven't regretted the purchase. Super-comfortable, great arch support, and the style and color dress up and down, looking just as great with shorts and t-shirts as they do with floaty summer dresses. I'm still happily wearing them years later, and the uppers still look great and the soles are in surprisingly good shape for all the walking they've done. Even a teething pit bull puppy chewing through one of the straps couldn't keep them down -- the nice folks at the shoe repair shop stitched the chewed ends back together, almost as good as new. These aren't cheap, but with a little care, you'll be able to get years of comfortable, good-looking service out of them...just don't leave them out around teething pups! ;)

The best - This is the best sandal I've ever owned. It has a footbed that is second to none. The best part, is that it's great for falling arches, but it looks stylish. Lots of colors, too!

Don't Leave Home without These shoes! I purchased my first pair of Helen in 97 and just bought another pair. They are the best sandals. I also own a pair of Birks and hardly wear them now, these are much better and much more comfortable. When I want a comfortable pair of shoes, these are the ones I pack, these shoes have been with me in South America, Europe, Asia and back home again, as I said "Never leave home without them!"
