Extremely comfortable shoe. I'm on and off my feet all day on a concrete warehouse floor and after an 8 hour day I don't feel the need to rush home and get my shoes off like I've done with all other shoes I've worn to work. When I need a new pair of shoes to wear to work there is no doubt that I'll be getting another pair.

I was in the market for a new all-around "exercise" shoe. Though I am not a basketball player, I always like to buy high-tops for the added ankle support. I wear these shoes to play volleyball and lift weights. I was looking for a shoe with the following characteristics: 1. High-top 2. Good traction 3. Nice width 4. Good arch support 5. Good cushioning This shoe met most of my expectations. It also looks really sharp! The traction is perfect. It is not as wide as I would like (I wear a 4E in New Balance) but the width is still acceptable. The arch support and cushioning are right where I want them to be in such a shoe. They are not too soft or spongy yet still provide great support and good "floor feel" when I am playing volleyball/lifting weights. My feet feel good the whole time that I am wearing this shoe which is a big plus. I would recommend this shoe.

The Nike shoes were just like the ad shoes, that is what I want when I order online. We love Zappos for two reasons. Reason one is that the next day the product you order is delivered. Reason two is that the products you order are just like the ads. Thanks Zappos!

All that you need from a BB shoe, without the unneeded (IMHO) "flair" of some models. Very comfortable from the go, no break-in time needed.

I bought this shoe two months ago but delayed writing about it. Very comfortable out of the box, but less comfortable after a few hours wearing around the house. I was also breaking in another pair of new shoes (from a store with a much shorter return period than Zappos). Now that I\'ve worn the Checkpoints enough to get used to them (or they to me) they\'ve been comfortable for long periods. The shoemakers of the world really hate my little toes, but these shoes leave enough room to wiggle them. So possibly they\'re a bit wide for some people. Fine for me though. The arch remains modest even after some wearing, but I don\'t sense any strain there. The surface under your feet has a very smooth feeling-- more dress shoe than athletic shoe. The underside of the toe box, however, isn\'t lined-- more of a rawhide feeling. The front part of the toe box is sueded leather, while the rest of the upper is smooth leather. The workmanship and appearance are quite good. Despite what another reviewer said, this is not a heavy shoe. On the whole, a very good walking-around-town oxford.

Working in a casual wear office, they go great dressing casual to slightly up. Walking and biking the shoes are matched only by other Eccos for comfort in my price range. They're better on the feet than they look in the box.

The shoes fit fine. They were size 42 (8 1/2 to 9) and I was afraid they would be too small, but they were just right for my 8 1/2 wide foot. The color was just what I thought, a chocolate brown. The only drawback was the price.

I got these during my recent trip to Europe. I forgot to pack some nice walking shoes, so I picked these up in hopes that they would work out. I had heard Eccos were supposed to be good shoes for being on your feet all day, but these unfortunately didn't do the job. They weren't very comfortable at all, actually. The sole is incredibly tough to break in, and they're quite heavy. Also, the material used feels kind of like a cheap vinyl, so I'm not sure if they are very "long-lasting." Overall, I was pretty disappointed with these. For a shoe that expensive, I was expecting a lot more. A pair of running shoes for half the price do way better than these.
