The best shoes I've ever owned. When I bought my first pair of these, I never imagined that I would still wear them regularly 3 years later. I would still be wearing them if I hadn't bussed tables in them for around a month. I'm on my second pair now, and I want a suede finish pair to compliment them. They're durable as all hell, comfortable, and look awesome with any type of clothing I own. I can dress them up or down and wear them with anything below a suit really. Working 8+ hours (selling shoes.. go fig!) is not a problem. I recommend these shoes to anyone that comes into my department, and most wind up walking out with a pair. A few have even come back to thank me for turning them onto these shoes. Great.. try a pair out. They're just awesome.

Marvelous shoe. I grew up seeing classmates wear this in school, but it wasn\'t until high school that I got my own pair in Guam. I wore it sometimes in high school, but I mostly used it for casual purposes. It\'s perfect. Looks handsome and cool with jeans, khakis, or even formal attire (I twice wore this with a Filipino barong), and it\'s comfortable and durable too, resisting abuse I inflict on it in the form of rain, mud, or uneven terrain, and still coming out nice. It\'s a great all-around shoe you won\'t regret getting.

The dark brown version of the Alley Cats are very nice looking, comfortable, casual shoes. The price is right and they get compliments. I also previously bought a black pair that, though look nice initially, are not very durable in that the leather starts getting worn and flaky if not cared for, very fast. The suede texture of the dark brow pair has proved much more durable and indeed prove to be scuff resistant. I highly recommend them.

These are great looking shoes, but that is where my love for them ends. They are EXTREMELY stiff and uncomfortable to wear and also have no arch support at all. I don't know how long it would take to break them in, but as uncomfortable as they are out of the box I wouldn't want to find out. These shoes are giant blisters waiting to happen. They also felt a little smaller than the size I ordered. I would order a half size larger than you normally wear if you are going to try them out.

I'm on my 2nd pair of these shoes along with a pair of black in similar style because I love them so much. The new leather smell is great, they last a long time and are very comfortable. I was glad to see Zappos carries them in a wide style that fits my flat foot great. I wear them to work daily and am a computer programmer so they don't get a lot of wear and tear, but are pretty comfortable to me for office use. I've been sticking with sketchers for quite a while now and love their shoes.
