Have owned other Rieker shoes and found them comfortable. I wanted a non-sandal summer shoe in red. This pair, something not right with them. They are made sloppy and the insole doesn't quite seem to fit into the shoe; size is OK but I cannot adjust the strap. The strap is too long to get the velcro tight (if I pull it to fit my instep, the velcro goes past the 'catch' and I have a high instep and the strap is way too long. Color is not as bright as in the photo. The shoes have a strange smell also, and seem to have been worn a bit (sole a bit dirty). First time I have been this unhappy with a Zappos purchase, but service is great as usual. Ordered in a 38, I take 7 1/2.

Hey I thought from the photo that these were black, turns out they are very dark brown BUT they are sooooo pretty AND comfortable that I am keeping them anyway. They are versatile enough to wear with jeans, crops or dresses, with thin socks or without. A pretty perfect little shoe!

Great shoes! Very cozy, sort of unstructured, which is ideal for my feet. They’re soft, almost like wearing slippers. Love them! Euro size was accurate, if you’re going by US size, get 1/2 size smaller.

I absolutely love these shoes. I usually wear a size 10 M but they seemed a little wide and 1/2 size long. I reordered a size 9 1/2 M and they fit great. I have osteoarthritis of the knees and it is hard for me to walk long distances on hard surfaces. I wear them shopping and doing all my errands. They are great looking and very stylish and so comfortable. My 14 year old grandaughter told me those are really cute shoes for you but not me. OH to be a teenager again!
