Shame on
OluKai! I have worn their Kekai (now discontinued)
sandals and sung their praises to all my friends. I ordered the OHANA, three pairs for a trip to California. They arrived, looking exactly like the Kekai. But when I wore them, after an hour I was slipping on the floors and outside. I scrubbed the soles thinking it was something I stepped through. But no. The materials used in OHANA are shoddy and similar to what they use in soles on
kid's shoes from
discount retailers. It's a shame that a shoe manufacturer like
OluKai has scrimped on such an outstanding
sandal. They should replace the soles with the same material used in Kekai
sandals. Those, live up to the
OluKai name. Not the OHANAS.
