My son loves these shoes. If fact, this is his second pair. He is very hard on shoes - as most active 10 years old are. Skechers have always been a good buy for us. Also, Zappos is wonderful. Super fast shipping! Will definitely do business with you again.

I'm so thrilled that I can shop for my son's sneakers so easily with Zappos. I was getting so tired of going to stores only to find out that the styles we're seeking, are usually sold out. Waste of time and effort to me. I know my son's size (usually) and not only do they deliver within 2 days, if there's anything about the shoe that doesn't work for us, they pay for the shipping return. As far as Skecher as a sneaker, it's a well made shoe and a wide selection of styles and widths. He's 9, and has always had a pair of Skechers in the closet. Great shoe, great service. Recommend both!

Much better than z-straps! Stretchy elastic bands and velcro strap combo seem to be an improvement over the Skechers z-straps (which stretched out and made it harder and harder to get the shoes to fit snuggly.) Also, not a lot of arch support, but how much does a 53 pound 6 year old need??
