Perfect fit - I have a long, medium/narrow foot with a low arch & this shoe fit me like a glove. It also makes my foot look normal sized and is flattering to my leg. Even though I'm fair skinned, I got the pewter and it looks great. The color is neutral and goes with a number of outfits.

Great -- Except for Heel Cup - A great shoe. It wears well for me and I'm on my feet all day, on concrete floors. The heel cup is too loose. I've added heel grip inserts in both shoes, and the heel still slips off and the shoe slaps my foot on the right.

Nice but too large! I purchased this shoe in pewter, thinking it would be a nice shoe to wear all summer with most of my outfits. Unfortunately, it is too large--size 5! The heel area is too loose, so my entire foot slips further in to the shoe, which causes rubbing. Normally I am able to adjust the straps to tighten a shoe, but since the strap is designed with velcro instead of a regular buckle, it is impossible. This is a nice shoe, but considering the high price, I feel the least Clarks could do is construct their shoes with a real buckle instead of velcro, which wears out more quickly.

Great shoe - very comfortable right out of the box!! I usually wear a 9 W (or sometimes a 9WW), but an 8.5 D was perfect in these. I bought the black and then purchased the brown and silver soon after - all great. This is my first pair of Clarks and I would highly recommend them.

Really great shoes. Comfortable from minute one. I like the color (I got the blue nubuck). Clarks are great shoes, my favorite because of the fit and style and design. Actually have several pairs of different style Clarks. The Un.s are great, airy, cool.

These boots were a little disappointing. Being a zip up boot, I expected them to be trim in the calf and straight. They are very big in the calf (I have never needed to use the zipper to get them on and off) and they are "slouchy." The leather rumples. They are also not true black, but more of a charcoal color. I guess they are supposed to look "distressed." They are, however, extremely comfortable and I love the look of the foot. They look great from the side but not so hot from the front due to the wideness and slouchiness.

This is a great boot and it is very comfortable. I think it runs a little big. The sole is very slippery in the rain. Trust me, because I slipped! Overall, this is the best boot I own! You'll love it!

I LOVE these boots! Have wanted a taller Frye that I could wear with skirts and these are it. I have larger calves but they fit when zipped, and the shoe part itself is really comfortable considering my size (11 wide) They were a huge investment, but being Frye I know they'll last. Happy 40th Birthday to me~! :)

Love this boot. I usually wear a 6.5-7 and I bought this boot in a 7 after some serious research, and it fits fine because I also wear it with thick socks. The heel took a few weeks to break in, but now they are amazing. The bottoms didn't last as long as I thought they should for such a pricey boot, but Frye offered to fix them for free.

I unfortunately had to return these. There was absolutely no question about the quality and construction - both were excellent. They were simply too big (I ordered my normal size 8), and the extra leather around the ankle seemed to make the appearance of lower part disproportionately smaller compared to the top (like a Pirate boot). Returns were a snap, and I ordered another style of Frye that I am very pleased with.
