Just right -
I'm going to sound like Goldilocks here. Got tired of department store type packaged
slippers with too much wobbly foam on the bottom and thought I'd upgrade. Wasn't simple. Of the other
brands I tried 1) some of the fashion-forward styles were costly, but not well made - hard glue on the seams hurts. 2) alleged long-wearing indoor-
outdoor slippers were too hard or itchy 3) a popular mail-order catalog's best-selling
slippers were not warm enough 4) some styles were just too shapeless and clumpy, while others were too, well, prissy. These
Minnetonka mules fit close enough to the foot that you're not drifting around in them and have just a bit of taper to the toe area. The insides are completely without irritating seams, labels, or tags. The
faux fur shapes to your feet after a bit (allow for some break-in time) and they are cozy without being hot as sheepskin can be. Just enough support to feel secure without being rigid. They do look like
slippers, not like fashion shoes - but then
slippers are what they are! They're about the color of a
golden retriever. Reasonable price for good quality.
