These shoes are alright - These trainers are alright. I recommend them mostly for indoor soccer or running. Contrary to what everyone says, these shoes do not run a full size larger. They run normal. I would say that they are narrower though. However, it is not uncomfortable. The shoe kind of molds to your foot. I got a lot of mixed reviews. I bought these shoes for leisure wear and people told me they looked like track shoes and that they grey mesh looked really weird. I recommend these for playing not for normal street wear.

I think these shoes look so hott! However unless you have the narrowest feet on the planet do not buy them. I normally wear anywhere from a 12 to a 13 depending on the shoe. In these I would need to wear a 15 double wide. Very hot looking but not functional and I do not see how they could possibly fit even the narrowest foot.

One of the Best Soccer Shoes Ever Made - I bought these at an online store and they were at least a full size smaller than marked. I bought them thinking I'd wear these for casual. Well, I might wear them at someone's carpeted house or at an outdoor barbecue, but not on hardwood floors or gym floors. This model has slight cleats, so they feel awkward on the hardest floors, but fine on carpet. These are really just about the best, most versatile soccer shoes that I've worn at any price, but they're really meant for turf or hard or firm ground outdoor surfaces. I'm not sure a better turf shoe could be designed. The only two soccer games these shoes would not be very useful for is muddy ones (or those on a soft ground) and the gym floor (the gym floor issue would be resolved after the "slight" cleats wear down). The Puma v.1.08 Trainer is just amazing for playing on turf and for running on grass. They're outstanding soccer shoes, fully comfortable yet perfectly snug for turf. I'd recommend all serious soccer players get them because they are useful in so many different soccer situations. I'd go with the Adidas Samba or one of the Nike Air Sala shoes (flat gum rubber) if you want a crossover soccer-street shoe because the v.1.08 are too specific for pro-level soccer for most casual wear. So I'll still stay with my Sambas for the street, but I'll take these special Pumas out for soccer in most situations. They are awesome. Just buy one size larger, unless Zappos has adjusted these to American sizes. And I don't think that they do that.

Even for a girl - yes, these are men's shoes but they look so cool I hadda have 'em! These definitely DO run small, even compared to other Pumas. Normally I wear a size 11 in women's, which translates to a size 9 or 9.5 in men's. They were all out of sizes 9 through 10 so I had to go all the way to a 10.5 and they fit perfectly. If they didn't run small they would be a bit big on me. My experience with Pumas are that the fit varies from style to style.

Absolutely the coolest old school vans... Always comfy, they get cooler as they age. Before Vans moved to heavy leather based athletic style shoes I would buy a pair of these every other year. Bar none the comfiest shoes for walking, skating, working--much better than Chucks. Maybe not the best support or performance, but soooo versatile.

VANS-best mens' canvas casual shoe I have been wearing these shoes since 1978 when I used to live only one block from the very first Vans retail store in Anaheim, CA. I have owned several styles, and I wish some would come back along with more colors. SUPER SHOES!

Great Shoes. This is the best shoe ever! It has the classic Vans look and the great waffle skate design on the bottom. The best skate shoe I've ever had! The only problem is, because it's canvas, it tears whenever you skate! (You have to bend your foot, so the canvas rubs up agains the griptape.) But if you don't skate, no problem! GET THESE NOW!

"Long time no see old friend" I was a teenager in San Fernando valley California in the 70's. The only shoe that kids wore were Vans. Before school started in the fall kids would have custom Vans made to match their clothes or would buy the latest color out. All types of kids wore Vans, from skete boarders, bike riders, surfers, low riders, valley girls, punk rockers to nerds. I left Caifornia, moved to the midwest and rarely saw Vans again. 25 years later the hottest shoes for my kids to get for school are Vans. I think I'll get the kids some Vans, and I'll get me a pair of Old Skools!

Comfortable customs - I began wearing Vans in the early 80's, I had the red and white "tropical" slip on style and loved them! Now I use the classic style for bowling shoes, custom painted, but, they would be more comfortable if the ankel area was padded like the slip-ons. I love the surface area of the toes, it allows for relly cool designs without much extra stitching to work around. VANS FOREVER!
