Gorgeous but TOO TALL - I absolutely love the look of these shoes, they are incredibly beautiful, BUT the 4 inch heel is just too tall. I thought the 1" hidden platform would make it have the feel of a 3", was I wrong. I REALLY wanted to keep these shoes & even practiced walking in them around the house, but I just can't shake the feeling I could get a badly sprung ankle from these babies. Sorry to return them : (

Cool Hippie Vibe shoe - Kinda pricey, but the fact that it's well made and so unusual in look makes the price tolerable. Blue/Light Purple colors and patchwork pattern makes for cool vintage 70's bohemian look. Totally comfortable and perfect height. Frye is doing some great styles lately!

These shoes are so gorgeous! I love everything about them, but I felt they ran about a 1/2 size too big. There was just enough room in them to make them tricky to walk in, and if I fell, it would be a long way down! I’m ordering a 1/2 size down & can’t wait to get them. They are well padded, well made, comfortable, and ridiculously hot. Thanks again Zappos!

Love These Shoes - The multi-colored sling backs are sooo beautiful. Surprisingly comfortable. The highest heel I own, but I seem to do okay. Sizing seems a little large. I usually wear a 9.5 - 10, but the 9 was a much better fit than the 9.5. And one of my feet runs a little wide, but this was not a problem.

Most perfect sling back ever! I love this shoe. The craftsmanship and leather are gorgeous. I've worn them so far with jeans and dresses and they look equally great with both. They give you a ton of height without feeling like you are walking on stilts. And they are incredibly comfortable!

These are really great looking and very fashion forward, a great look for a Frye shoe. I'm only 5 FT so I really love the height they give me. I got blisters the first day I wore them, so choose a day you don't have to walk all over town to break them in. The leather is fantastic quality; Frye will never let you down as far as the quality goes. These look great with leggings, jeans, shorts. They are definitely a very cool shoe, you'll be happy with the look. I've worn them several times since the first painful day, and since then they have been fine. :)

The most relaxing shoe there is! This is a great shoe for comfort. I have owned 5 pairs of this shoe. The only trouble that I have had is that they wear out really fast if you wear them constantly. I love these shoes.

My Favorite Shoe. I disagree with the first review that says these shoes wear out quickly. I've now been wearing one pair for years, although I have a few pairs in reserve. My only problem is keeping them clean. I wear the old dirty ones all the time, but put on a new clean pair when I'm going out in public. Reviewer is wearing her Easy Spirit AP1 shoes in photo.

Looking for Comfort. I've had this type shoe for the last five years. I look for comfort and durability in shoes because I'm on my feet about 16 hours a day. I do agree with others that they wear out too quickly. I have to buy at least 3 pair a year, as I have to wear them every day and for so long. I also wish I could find them on sale once in a while.

Very nice! This is an extremely comfortable shoe. They don't need any "breaking in". The leather is very soft and it looks nice, too, especially for a casual shoe.

Comfort Plus! I have a very hard time finding shoes, as I am arthritic, and I couldn't find a pair that didn't rub against my toes or squeeze on the sides or that the leather didn't feel like a rock against my foot. Well, these shoes don't do any of that! I plan to buy more!

Love 'em. It's the greatest shoe I've ever found for comfort and looks. However, the wearability is quite low. They don't hold up as well as some of the other brands and I find myself buying at least three pair a year.

Why not White Fabric? I've had two pairs of this style in the white fabric they came in -in the GOOD OLD DAYS. Now, I cannot find these in anything but leather. With my size 10 AAA's it isn't easy to find plain old canvas tennis shoes that actually fit. I have a pair in the black leather, but would go to great lengths to get a couple of pairs in the white fabric.

Comfort plus. They are by far the most comfortable shoe. I've worn out my white pair and am experiencing difficulty in getting another pair with the golve soft leather. They really do wear out fast, and I don't mind that as long as I can get more.

Best shoe ever. Comfort plus, I do agree! The only problem I have is that the laces are too long and almost every pair I have purchased has at least one eyelet pulled out! As for keeping them clean....I throw them in the washer and have had perfect results! No shrinkage or damage. Haven't tried the dryer! Just air dry and they come out beautifully! -Pat LaCross, San Diego

Not what it used to be. The manufacturer is now making this shoe in China. The leather is not what it used to be.
