The company and quick delivery is better than any shoe you could offer!

Beautiful shoe!
I ordered this shoe close to the end of winter and it's still too cold to wear them out. But just by trying them on around the house, I can tell they will be a summer staple. The craftsmanship is outstanding, and for a wooden shoe, they are super comfy. The leather straps are sturdy and thick. I have wide feet, so if you do too, the fit of the straps may be a bit snug, but its leather, I am sure they will "give" a bit over some time. All in all this is a gorgeous, well crafted shoe! Worth every penny!

Happy to find another
Frye sandal!
About 3 years ago, I bought a pair of
Frye sandals similar to the 'Ellie Ring
Slide.' (They had a wide band across the top with a ring in the middle of it.) I wore them all the time -- with
jeans and
shorts -- until the wooden sole was exposed and I could no longer have them repaired. I finally had to throw them out recently. I was happy to see a similar
Frye sandal offered, bought them and I am just beginning to wear them, ALL THE TIME! They fit to my foot like a glove. I'm glad that
Frye offers shoes other than the more extreme-looking
high heels and boot-type designs.

I purchased these
sandals in a size 8.5 and even though I am a true 8.5, I found these to be a bit big across the top of the foot. However, I absolutely love the shoe. They were everything I wanted and more. Even though they're not quite my size I can tell that they are very comfortable and have ordered a pair one half size smaller.

My "everything" shoes -- love them!
I wear these almost every day -- they are comfy (after the initial break-in period) and look great with
jeans or
shorts. They are casual, yet not
flip-flop-ish. I got the light tan color and it goes with about everything -- have gotten lots of compliments. They are worth every penny!

OUCH -
I live in Brooklyn and walk a lot. I was hoping that these would be my go-to summer shoes; however, after walking about 10 blocks, my feet started to blister on top. The leather is very stiff and it felt like I was wearing razors on the top of my feet. I love this brand and also love the vintage styling. I have other
Frye sandals that are quite comfortable, but these were killers. So sad.

These shoes are really cute. I had to return though. The 6.5 was too big and the 6 seemed small. The wooden footbed just seemed like they would not be comfortable, but they are sooo cute!!! I am really bummed.

These shoes are adorable and surprisingly comfortable. While I wouldn't wear them for a full day of walking around (wooden soles are obviously un-cushioned), they feel great. The color and design are very stylish and they look great with
jeans. I get a lot of compliments when I wear them. I think they will last forever since they are well-made and the style is timeless. Glad I bought them!

Sadly, I'm returning these
sandals. Love, love, love the look - but just not comfortable. The combination of the top ring digging into my foot and the wood sole being less comfortable than other
sandals I have - made me feel that I'd never wear them. And this was not without thought. I'm a true 6.5 -- and felt the 6 was a better fit. I'd go down a half size if you are considering these. Also, I'm pretty narrow, so if you're wide and you go down a size, I'm not sure they'd work. Good luck, if you can do it, I think these
sandals are so cute.

I was hesitant to purchase these shoes with all the negative reviews, but I found that they are really pretty comfortable--definitely not a 'comfort shoe' but so, so pretty and actually very wearable for those with narrow feet. I can see where it might be a problem for those with wider feet. Plus, the leather does seem to give a little after a few wears. The wooden sole is not bad--I wore them around the mall for a couple of hours with no blisters or anything. Overall I thing these shoes are gorgeous, well made, and fairly comfortable, especially compared to most heels I own. The seafoam color is even better in person--softer and more subtle than it looks online.
