Best shoe for spring/summer 09!! A neutral platform sandal is the shoe for all the spring colors and looks!! I can wear this shoe ALL day because comfort level is great. I will probably wish I had purchased 2!!

Dress and Comfort in One Package - Two years ago, I bought a pair of black leather Naturalizers with the platform and wedge heel that I absolutely love. Unfortunately, they now squeak when I walk, so I don't like to wear them often. Enter the Alcala II as a replacement. Just received these this afternoon, and I'm already in love. Nice and stable, with good cushioning and straps that don't rub. And, while I don't always like to spend this much on a pair of shoes, previous jobs have taught me the importance of good shoes. So, if you're looking for a good, comfortable work sandal with a heel, I'd say these are worth the investment! Note on fit: I normally wear a 7 1/2 narrow. Due to past Born purchases, I knew to buy a 7, rather than an 8. So, while I say that it runs true to size, the 7 may be a little narrower than expected for others.

Wow!!! These shoes looked beautiful online and although a bit expensive I ordered them knowing that Born shoes serve me well. They were just as beautiful in person and I wore them to work the next day (I teach kindergarten) and they were great!! No rubbing, blisters, good arch support and my feet weren't at all sore at the end of a long day.

Shoes are more comfortable than they seem. As a teacher, I am able to wear these during the day without discomfort. They look great with jeans and dresses. I ordered the black and like them enough to order another color in the future. This new Born brand has impressed me so far.

These are the most comfortable, goes with all long pants, and most rugged shoe I own.

I have a pair of the original clogs -- bought them 10 years ago and I still wear them! They are in great shape and have lasted throughout the 10 years -- highly recommend these clogs for not only everyday wear, but for all-weather activities as well.

Don't Sweat It These fit and style of these shoes was great. My only complaint, and the reason I do not wear them any longer, the padded lining seems to retain moisture if your feet sweat at all. The salt in the leather comes to the surface every time I wear them, which has damaged the leather and leaves salt substance staining the surface of the shoe. I have tried several different leather cleaners/treatments to no avail. Now they just take up space in my closet.

The Best shoe yet! I was new to clogs and had searched for quite some time. I happened on this site and there they were. This has been the best purchase I've made thus far. They're flexible with different attire and they get many compliments. Love em!

Cool shoe, but - The shoe runs small, not like another review I read that said they ran true. The shoes squeek every time you take a step. Hopefully that will go away after time. It is a good looking shoe and I'll probably get a second pair of them in brown.
