Cute and extremely comfortable shoe! Looks stylish. Accommodates a wide foot well. I purchased these to wear for a special business event, but also because I needed a comfortable shoe for traveling. These shoes got me through 16 hours in four different airports with no break-in period. I was able to wear them out of the box to the airport (had no problems getting through airport security with them--no metal), and even after an entire day of walking around numerous airports I had no blisters, pain or discomfort. I normally have ankle pain after being on my feet for several hours, but not in these. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a super comfortable, yet office friendly and stylish shoe.

I ordered this online late Wednesday; when I walked into my office the next day, they were already there! I ordered 1/2 size longer, because of comments I have seen. Glad I did. In the past 4 days, I have worn them all day for 2 days! I have arthritis and fractured bones in both feet, a wide forefoot and a narrow heel, and I have trouble getting anything to fit. Next I will order the red ones.

Finally, a cute orthopedic shoe! I have wide feet with a very high instep. On top of all that, I have custom orthotics, which are thicker than normal insoles. So most shoes are too tight, even if I can remove the insole first. Not these! These are the cutest shoes that can accommodate an orthotic, but still have room left over for an added layer of cushion, and still not be too tight. The only other shoe that could do that were my Aetrex Ambulator mary janes. Those shoes are comfortable, but so ugly. Besides the comfort, I'm happy because these Lucy shoes actually look good with skinny jeans. Ballet flats would be better, since I can't wear those, the Lucys come very close. I have only two (minor) complaints about the style: I wish the strap was thinner (it's about 1" wide!) and I wish they had not stitched flowers on the side. Other than that, I love these shoes! Normally an 8.5 wide would have been perfect, but they pinched around the toes. I chose a 9 wide instead. I think an 8.5 WW may have also worked, but I'm too lazy to order a 3rd pair to try on!

Usually extra wide shoes fit me the best. I ordered an extra wide Lucy, but unfortunately, it was too narrow for my really wide foot. Possibly Aetrex as a group runs more narrow than Drew as a group. The shoe looks well made, and is about as stylish as a MJ comes. It would look good when wearing pants.

I feel deeply meh about these shoes. They are kind of old-lady-ish with the wide, velcro straps, and they're a little squishy in the arch support department, as if maybe they're just not quite up to my weight (so maybe arch support would be fine for a smaller person). But they're reasonably comfortable, actually wide enough (a rare feat, pun intended), and not terribly orthopedic-looking.
