For being
K-Swiss' 'cheap' shoe, it is still very good.
K-Swiss used to have an older model of these shoes called the 'Contester.' Well,
K-Swiss has made a number of improvements to this model.
First of all, the leather upper is softer. The break-in-time only took about a week with the soft leather.
The durability is a little better. I have only owned these about a month, but they seem alright. I wear them for everyday shoes and save my Wilson's for the
tennis court. The Wilson's have a larger toe guard than these shoes, so these are just my everyday ones.
The thing that seems to go first with these shoes is the 'side' sole separating from the upper.
I gave the comfort 5 stars. I have never seen a more comfortable pair of shoes than
K-Swiss. These shoes are also notable for their large amount of toe-room.
I got the yellow and gray ones, and they look cool. The white ones look okay too, but I prefer mine.
For some reason my heel
slides up and down a tad in the right shoe, so I couldn't give the pair of shoes a perfect 5 stars. Plus, the
arch support is not great, but I think that this makes the shoe more comfortable overall.
