I have both the gortex lined and regular wings and love them. Used the gortex lined pair all winter on snow and ice and down to -10F. Kept my feet toasty and the traction is great on both pairs.

This is my second pair and I also have the winter boots. Love the Salomon brand! Great for people with narrow feet who wear orthotics. Fantastic support. I wear every day and wore my last ones down to the last of their treads. Great quality, comfort and support. Would highly recommend.

These might be my all time favorite shoes. I love them and have bought three pairs in the last 1.5 years. I light them for hiking/exercise and for city use. Lightweight, comfortable, excellent traction, and support for exercise, durable, easy to get on and off, waterproof. I have a normal width foot with a narrow heel and it is hard to get shoes that fit well and hold the back of my food tight -- these are great. The lacing system on these shoes is not only easy, but creates a comfortable, tight fit. My only complaint is that if the laces break, it is an unbelievable pain to replace them because of the unique lacing system on the shoes. Otherwise, pretty much perfect.

This is my second pair of Salomon shoes. Great buy, comfortable. I wear them every day. I still wear my other pair which are still okay to wear. Oh, if you're the guy who thinks the cherry color is too much, don't stress; they will get dirty sooner than you think.
