Great looking shoe, but cuts into my ankle - This shoe would be perfect if it weren't cutting into my outer ankle on my left foot. I can't really wear it. I already wore it outside so I have to keep it. They are definitely reminiscent of my old favorite, the Jette, which was discontinued last year. Unfortunately the sides come up too high for me.

Not a good cut! I love Danskos and have many pairs. I'd been waiting for them to make a shoe with laces for a while, as I have a pair that are about 8 years old that I love. These cut terribly into my ankles -- they just come up far too high around the ankle. Had to send them back.

I Love this shoe! Can be worn for casual or dress. A little tighter on the outside than other Danskos but still a great success!

My Girlfriend loves it! I bought this shoe for my girlfriend's birthday. It's really ideal, and looks built to last a long time. Great everyday shoe for everyday things. It fits her feet extremely well and she reports it's very comfortable. (And it's VERY hard to find shoes for her that she can describe as such.) A great buy. I'm not as big a fan of the square toe thing, but that's just me. You won't be disappointed with this shoe.

Much love for Marin - With rheumatoid arthritis in my feet and ankles (as well as other parts of my body), finding comfortable shoes is extremely difficult for me. These ones are brilliant - they provide support for my flat feet, accommodate insoles (though I actually don't need to use them for these ones), help my arthritis greatly and look very classy (I have the brown). I wore them right out of the box, no break in required.

Marin - Great Shoe - I needed a shoe that would accommodate orthotics. This is my first pair of Danskos. It worked great and is perfect for my style. I really like the metal grommets the laces go through. This shoe is an excellent fit for a business casual workplace.

Great Comfortable Shoes - This is my first pair of Danskos, and I really like them. I was looking for a black oxford that would fit orthotics I recently got; these fit the bill. I did notice the back heel could cut into my ankle just a little when I first got them, but that has gotten better. These shoes are comfortable for walking around all day and are quickly becoming a go-to pair of shoes for me. Danskos seem to be a bit wider than some shoes based on what I see in stores, so keep that in mind if you have narrow feet.

These are very comfortable and supportive shoes. I have a somewhat wide foot and have had foot surgery. Danskos are excellent shoes. Zappos is by far the best online company to shop on. Their customer service and selection is outstanding.

Super shoes - I was looking for a stylish alternative for winter and found it in the delightful Dansko Marin style. They are comfortable, required no break in period and look like they will last forever. They are a good alternative to Docs which I usually wear in the winter slush and mud. I am new to purchasing the Dansko brand but am seeing a good selection of "cooler" styles as of late.

Surprisingly Uncomfortable - Ouch. I love Danskos, and buy them frequently, but this particular model of shoe was surprisingly painful to wear. I tried, but in the end I realized that it wasn't a problem that could be resolved by breaking the shoes in. These shoes are tight across the "bunion" area of the forefoot, and there is a seam that rubs on the "bunion" bone - sorry for the lack of technical terms, but y'all know what I mean. It was extremely painful. In addition, the back edge of the shoe is a bit sharp, and likewise uncomfortable. I had no choice but to stop wearing them. They are cute, though. I wish they'd fit!
