This is a beautiful shoe, but felt much narrower than its stated medium width. The bands pinched at just the wrong places.

Great work shoe. I have very high arches, and my feet would ache after nights on call in the hospital. With as much time as I spend on my feet, even running shoes with expensive inserts would not help. I purchased these, and with the first day of use I could tell a tremendous difference in how my feet felt. They're not very "cushiony", but the manner in which they conform to the unique contour or your foot makes this shoe amazing. If your feet hurt and you need to use them constantly, look no further.

A godsend shoe. I work in a coffee shop part time. I usually sit at a desk all day. The first few days of standing on my feet for 8 hours was horrible. I couldn't walk for two days. I found these shoes. I could tell a difference after the first day of wear. It does take a couple of days to start to mold the cork which means they only get better. They are a breeze to clean and the traction is great. No slips. I would recommend these to anyone who needs to be on their feet with the convenience of washing the shoes with soap and water.

I work in kitchens, and I cannot count the number of shoes I went through until I purchased my Super Birks. I have had mine for close to five years worn everyday I worked, even on my off days, and sadly I must replace them they have cracked on the bottom, but I definately got my money's worth. I did have to replace the insoles a couple of times. The problem of owning an exceptional pair of shoes such as these, is that I got so used to wearing them, my feet and ankles actually became very sensitive to other shoes that were more confined and higher up on my ankle, causing blisters and sore spots. Love my Birks!!!

Maximum comfort, different look - I stand on a tile floor all day in a restaurant where you have to wear black shoes. Grease and dirty water splash on them all day. These shoes seem to be stain-proof. I love the way they let air in around your feet, so your feet don't bake inside them (I live in Phoenix). They have a nice, comfortable removable inner cushion. I like them because they don't squeeze my bad toenail. At first, they seem a little wide and look different. I got used to that when I felt how good they feel after all day at work. I really love these shoes. I just slip them on and slip them off (I hate laces). I'm so glad I bought them. The quality is very good and I got my shipping upgraded for no extra charge -not to mention NO TAXES (the very best part!)

Not that great - These shoes are only good if you walk around all day. I work in the operating room and stand for hours at a time. They provide little comfort.
